A Summer Day

Here's a little glimpse into our average day. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to play outside (aka "side"). We could spend many hours out in our backyard (sometimes we do). It seems like all we wear any more is a onesie or a diaper and that's it. Sometimes we'll throw a bow on Ella, but this has turned out to be our summer attire (unless we're going out). They both love to be "nakey" and they end up getting their clothes really dirty or soaked anyway, so this is what we do. And to think that their closets is FULL of such pretty clothes! =)

In between playtime, they like to come and snack and get something to drink. The picnic table was a huge hit!

They love their "baby" sized bottles of water too. If you look closely you'll notice a fish floaty in the bottle--- ewww!

Ella walks all around with her water because she knows if Evan gets a hold of it he'll likely dump it all out (yah, that's his new thing. Wonderful).

Swingin' away... They call the swing a "wing" and they like to yell "weeeeee" as they swing along.

And at the end of the day we clean up pretty well after a nice bath. I've been having to bathe them separately because they get the water so disgustingly dirty just on their own. Ewww again. =) They like to help hand me things and watch the other get their bath. =)Brush, brush, brush! It takes all of the patience a 1 1/2 year old can muster up to wait for mommy to brush their teeth first so that they can do it on their own. They actually do a pretty good job scrubbing. And, of course, they usually end up grabbing a snack again AFTER their teeth have been brushed. Oh well.
