It's been Ella and Evan's thing to give the stuffed animals in their cribs kisses at night. Evan isn't one to give kisses to people, but he'll willingly give kisses and hugs to any other object. Stinker. =) If I ask for a kiss or a hug, he gives me this huge grin, laughs and takes off running wanting me to chase him. He would love it if I would chase him ALL day, but that's a different story. As cuddly as Evan is, my little Ella Bean is the snuggle queen. This little girl wants loves all day long, and loves to give mommy kisses (she'll say, "mommy kiss mouth". Awww, she melts my heart.
So back to bed time... Ella has now decided that she wants to give Buddy kisses at night too. So I put her in Buddy's crib and she leans over him to give kisses. Evan will usually just lay there and giggle. She likes to just lay in his bed with him and they'll both snuggle into their blankies and say "night-night". If I knew they'd go to sleep and STAY asleep, I would love to keep them that way, but knowing my little girl, she wouldn't give Evan a pleasant night of sleep. =) She actually cried one night when I took her out of his bed to go in hers. Evan just kept pointing her bed saying, "sissy, sissy". In other words, he wanted her to go back into her territory. =)
Anyway, here are a few pics I got of them snuggling in Evan's crib. And don't mind the HUGE strawberry stain on Ella's shirt (which I got out the next day-- phew!). It reminded me not to change them before eating dinner! =)
