Thankfulness

I have so much to be thankful for this year... a wonderful husband, two amazing babies, supportive and loving family, Greg's job, a home, a free country, and a God that loves us more than we could ever know. So blessed!

We went to my sister's house this year for them to host their first Thanksgiving feast (although they've been married for 10 years now-- wow!). We had a great time visiting, looking through sale ads, playing with kids, watching Ella and Evan eat their first Thanksgiving meal, watching the Cowboys beat the Raiders, and eating lots of yummy food!

We hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving spending time with family and friends!

Buddy getting ready to dive in!
Bean too, but not quite sure she wants to let her pacifier go!
Mmmm... turkey and mashed potatoes and gravy!

Gettin' some GOOD food!
Kayli and Kevin holding hands FOREVER to pray before we ate... I think they were the only ones that had their plates ready and had to wait a lifetime before we were all settled! =)
Startin' to get full... can you tell by this face?
Bean going strong! The babies were STILL eating even after we had finished and during some of the time I had started dishes! Little piglets! =)
Trying on the Pilgrim had that cousin Kevin made at school-- just a little big yet.

And some cuteness... =)

EGGS

Today we tried eggs for the first time (well, at least plain). They were a big hit! My friend Trisha inspired me to try some new things-- she always has great ideas! =)

And here's a little video clip for Grandma and Grandpa who are away on vacation-- AND who check the blog twice a day! =) Not sure I can keep up with that! Thankfully you'll be back on Saturday! =)

The Moose is Loose!

From time to time, the gate into the hallway is mysteriously left open. Buddy likes to silently go through and make his way out towards the office. I caught him just in time today... =)

Two Playdates in ONE Day!

We've had so many playdates scheduled lately, it was bound to happen where we would have 2 in 1 day! We're so thankful for lots of friends and family that want to get together and play with us! How blessed are we? =)

Here's Ella playing with her good friend Gwyn, who was born the day before her. They have lots of fun together and Gwyn was trying to teach Ella how to stick a golf ball inside her mouth! ;)
Here's Gwyn's mommy (Trish) reading them a book-- not much beats that! Look how tall Miss Gwyn is! She's going to be tall like her mommy and daddy!
The 3 Musketeers making a break for the hallway!

And then Monday evening Greg's cousin and and her husband, Christy and Tim, stopped by with their daughter, Avery. They live down South and are up for Thanksgiving break. Avery is about a month and a half younger than Ella and Evan so it's fun to watch them play together. They brought Ella and Evan fun birthday presents, which included some super cute hair clippies for Miss Ella. Now how did she know that Ella would like those? =)
Here they are breaking into the Fridge Farm box-- the magnets alone were a big hit!

Ella with her excited face! j/k
Buddy inspecting Avery's shoes... he's had lots of practie with his sister's.
Christy and Ella (and mommy in the way back)
Evan, Ella, Christy, and Tim
Ella trying to steal toys from Avery. Surprised?
And it continued for quite a while...

Evan: "What? I can't hear you over all the noise!"

Thanks for the fun times! We love you guys so much! Hope to see you all soon!

Bean & Buddy

Notice the big bruise on Bean's head! :( We have more bumps and bruises than I can keep track of these days-- sheesh!

Are We Always in PJ's?

It seems like there are so many posts with Ella and Evan in their pj's! People are going to think they live in them! Here are a couple of cute pictures of them together...

More Playing

Playing with Daddy

Just Precious

Busy Morning

It's only 9 a.m. and we have accomplished so much already... We've read some books...
reorganized some of mommy's drawers...
got lots of hugs and loves from mommy...
made some phone calls...
climbed around furniture...
climbed on boxes...
and found a hidden stash of toys...

Now (thankfully) we're down for our morning nap... I wonder what the rest of the day will bring us? =)

My Cuties

So I wasn't very happy with the pictures that I posted of the babies yesterday. They weren't very cooperative at looking at the camera (not that I was that successful in this post either!), so I decided to post some more today. I put the babies down each night totally exhausted and ready to have some "me time", and then all I want to do is look at pictures and/or video I took of them that day. I end up missing them and have to go check on them. Greg always laughs at me. I guess that's what being a mom is all about-- I just can't get enough of my sweet babies!

How many puffs do you see in there?

Lounging on the couch... a favorite these days!

Wearin' her pink boots
Don't they look just thrilled here? =)

Eyein' the same toy! That spells trouble!
Buddy impressing us with The Ratchet-- we're talented people over here.

Love the sweater dress/boot look-- WAY too cute!
