My Boys

I couldn't love any two boys as much as I love these two! I am unbelievably blessed!

Accessorizing!

Ella doesn't have a lot of hair yet, but I found these cute little clips that stay in even the finest of baby hairs. I got a ton of them in different colors and styles (they're not all here yet, but coming... so stay tuned!). She looks so cute with them in her hair! It's so fun to be a girl! =)

I think she likes them!

Cutie Patootie!

Just a few cute pictures of Ella... I managed to get a few before she decided to roll over! =)

Here she is startin' to lean... =)

New Toy

I pulled out one of the exersaucers for the babies to play in. They can't do a whole lot, but they really seemed to like it. I have to stick a blanket in between them and stay close because I don't want them to flail forward and hit their heads. I also stick a pillow under their feet because they don't quite touch the bottom! =)

Evan having a good time. You'll notice that he has his hands together again. He loves bringing them together while eating, playing, watching Baby Einstein, well... just about anytime! =)

Ella is really into studying and grabbing things, especially on material. Here she is trying to touch and 'grab' the monkey on the blanket. So cute! =)

We LOVE Baby Einstein!

I am constantly trying to keep the babies from watching the t.v. in our family room (Daddy doesn't help much! :P ). So one day I decided to see how they'd react to a Baby Einstein video. I propped them up on the floor before nap time and turned it on. They LOVED it! Evan loved it especially; he was squealing and smiling almost the whole time! Now I'm sure there are some mothers horrified that I would let them watch t.v., but I don't believe that every once in a while is going to hurt anything. Heck, it gives me a minute or two to get something done (or take cute pictures!) =)

Pin Cushions

The babies had to go in and get 'pricked' again at 3 months since we're spreading their vaccinations out. Sometimes it makes me feel really guilty for doing so and making them get more shots! :( The babies cried when they got the two this time around. It was very sad and Mommy wanted to cry. I just held them close and they settled down fairly quickly. Luckily, my mom was there to help me comfort my sweet babies! We went home and gave them lots of loves!

Here's Evan being very serious for a while...
He finally seemed to be okay... =)

New Wheels

We decided to bust out our side-by-side stroller for our walks around the neighborhood. The babies really seem to enjoy it. They're able to recline and sit next to each other (now that we've 'discovered' each other)! We have a great time on our walks!
Here they are all tuckered out after our big walk!

That's How I Roll

Well, it has become nearly impossible to get Ella & Evan to practice tummy time anymore. This morning, everytime I put them on their tummy they'd flip right on over! They'd give me a big smile when I'd exclaim, "Yay!". Evan gets stuck every once in a while and can't get his leg up high enough to topple over... he gets very frustrated! :( In this picture, they were right next to each and they were both trying to roll over at the same time. Problem was that Evan couldn't get his leg up and over, which then kept Ella from being able to flip over. It was very funny to watch! =)
Here's a short clip of Ella rolling over... I caught it just in time! =)

Don't forget to pause the 'blog' music at the bottom of this page in order to hear better! =)

Pryor Engagement

Ella and Evan were finally able to meet their Auntie, Uncle, and cousin from Oregon this past weekend! Even Auntie Kimbo and cousin Capri were able to come up! We had a blast! Here are some fun pictures of all the cousins (and family) together! =)

We had a fun weekend! Ella and Evan loved all the extra hugs and kisses they got from her Aunties, Uncle, and cousins! Can't wait to see everyone again in May! =)

Church

This past Sunday was Ella & Evan's first time to church. They looked so cute in their church clothes! This was the end of the day and they were a bit tired, but regardless, they're still super-cute! =)

Muy Bien!

So tonight I did something that hasn't occurred in a LONG time... I cooked a REAL meal! Sure, I've heated up some frozen dishes, but tonight I actually made the whole meal, complete with a salad and a vegetable. The enchiladas were delicioso! Woo-hoo, Kari!

Loss of ALL Bodily Functions!

Ella was a mess yesterday... well, at least after her lunch yesterday afternoon. My mom went to go change her and realized that her 'mess' had escaped from the diaper. In fact, the 'mess' was able to crawl all the way to her shoulders and out the sides! Yuck. Thank goodness Grandma was there! But wait, there's more... So after about a million wipes, a diaper was pulled out to put on and then Ella decided pee all over the changing table. Hmph. Just when we thought we were safe from anymore messes, Ella decided to spit up as well. Boy, what a mess she was!

Here she is all stripped down...
If you look close by her hair and ears you can see some of the 'mess' that got on her when taking off the onesie! Ick!

3 Months Old!

I can't believe it, but Ella & Evan turned 3 months old yesterday! It seems like everyday they learn and do something new. Sometimes I don't realize how big they're getting until I look at their newborn pictures. It makes me sad then to realize how fast time is going! They're lots of fun though and we enjoy watching them grow and change!

They're both putting on weight, but the last time I checked (maybe a week ago?) Evan was about a pound heavier than Ella. The scale said that he weighed 14 lbs and Ella was 13 lbs. Wow! They've almost doubled their birth weight! Even though Evan is putting on the weight and we're not starving him by any means, he likes to put up a big stink when it's time to eat and when you take the bottle away from him to burp. Honestly, you'd think we never feed him! Crazy boy. This isn't typically Ella's thing, but it seems as though they like to teach each other bad habits; Lately, she's been known to do the same thing!

They both love to talk and smile. Ella is a little more camera shy, but not Evan. He LOVES it! =) He knows what Mommy wants to see. They especially love to talk and share on the changing table. I don't know what it is, but they both become chatter boxes while getting changed.

I'm still continuing to pump, nurse, and supplement with formula. They eat anywhere between 4 and 6 1/2 oz. 4-5 times a day. A few weeks ago, we stretched their feedings out to every 4 hours instead of every 3. And just a few days ago we dropped the late night (10:30 p.m.) feeding. Around 8:00 p.m. has been our last feeding for the night and then we feed around 8:00 the next morning. The babies have been sleeping about 10-11 (it ranges) hours at night, but with some periods of waking up. This usually happens around 5-6 a.m. and I start giving them the pacifier and they go back to sleep. I still feel totally exhausted and tired all the time though. I guess I don't go to sleep right when they do because I have to fix Greg's lunch, pump and get the bottles for the next morning ready. Regardless, I'm getting more sleep than I have in a long time!

Thankfully, they're sleeping more at night, but lately I've been struggling with the daytime naps. Usually, after we eat, we play for a while and when they get fussy I would normally put them down for their nap. But lately, since there's so much time in between the feedings, I'll let them play and when they get fussy, I switch them to something else and/or try the pacifier. Then after a while I put them down. They'll go to sleep, but wake up after only a short time! I've tried putting them down sooner too, but with the same result. If they don't get enough sleep then they're cranky for the rest of the day! It's driving me crazy and I don't know how to get them to STAY asleep! Ugh. Any suggestions would be appreciated! =)

They both still love to bury their heads into their little monkey blankies. If you don't give Evan the pacifier or bottle in time, he chomps at his hands. It takes about 2 people to pry his hands away from his face - he's so strong! Ella is in to licking; She licks everything! And she loves to stick out her tongue. She especially loves it when you stick it back out of her... she gets a real kick out of that and let's out a little chuckle. Evan has giggled a few times when I've tickled him, but not much more than that. Ella's likes to give big belly laughs in her sleep, but we haven't heard it awake yet. They love to sing songs and play in their bouncers and, of course, have Mommy hold them!

Here are some pictures of them at 3 months... getting so big!
My sweet girl!

The Fight!

"What did you say?!"

"I'm going to tell Mommy on you!"

"You better not!"

"Mommy said we had to hold hands and say we were sorry."

My big guy!

Greg always calls Evan his little moose and then I found this outfit and had to get it!
