So Happy

to go outside with daddy! This little guy just loves to go outside and will point and knock on the back door to go out. He'll cry too. :( Daddy took him out for just a few minutes (it was FREEZING out there, but Buddy didn't care!) before dinner time. Look at that happy boy! =)

Bath Time

Can't WAIT to have mommy open the gate and crawl over the bathroom for bath time! They like to watch me fill the tub! =)
Cute, cute, cute little tushies!
Buddy's all done!
And little Bean, too!

All cleaned up for bed!

Sunshine Fun

The babies just LOVE to go outside! They also love to go "bye-bye" (Ella crawls over to the gate and says "bye" while waving), so with the combination of the two, Ella and Evan were in heaven! =) They love for me to take pictures of them and then show them the picture in the screen afterwards!
Ella holding her oranges in the front yard at grandma's. She always knows where to find them in her kitchen!
Buddy's favorite place to be-- mommy's lap.
Auntie thought this was a funky outfit-- who doesn't love Baby Lulu!?!
Tryin' out grandma's camera
Watching the big kids play ball
This was a HUGE hit for E & E! Mommy went out and bought them each one that night for Easter!

Sweet face...

Secret Hiding Place

The babies love to go into their secret hiding place (aka: under the kitchen desk). It's been a favorite ever since they learned to crawl and visit it daily. I'm thinking they've inherited their mommy's love of building forts and such-- it was something my sister and I would do almost every weekend in our bedroom, complete with separate rooms and more! =) I'm sure I'll be right there with them when the time comes! =)

"This is the best!"

Still has a hold of daddy's apple tv remote... we've seemed to misplace one of his "tiny" remotes-- gotta find it before daddy gets home! :P

We even like to bring toys into it to play with!

Weekend Pictures

We had a pretty lazy Sunday. After the babies' morning nap we had to go shopping to get daddy some new clothes for his first day of his new job. The babies helped pick out a nice shirt and shoes! =) We then stopped by grandma and grandpa's to visit with them and the puppies. Ella and Evan (especially Ella!) LOVE the lemon tree in the backyard and want to pull all of them off, which grandma and grandpa let them do! Ella likes to call anything that's round a "ball", so she kept repeating "ball, ball" while pointing to the tree-- too funny! And then we came home to play with our toys. A pretty nice day, I'd say! =)

Ella and her cheesy grin! =)

Why are these little ones always half naked by the end of the day? =)

Speaking of cheesy grins... AND, look at all those teeth!
YUM!

And they love to sit on pillows too...
Bean even likes to lay and rest her head on them!

Shopping With My Babies

The weather was so nice on Saturday (77*!!!), so I decided to get out! Greg had a project he was working on (always!), so I told him I'd take the babies out so he could have a couple of hours to do what he wanted to do. Our first stop was Stride Rite to get the babies sized for sandals. They both have smaller feet for their age, Ella measuring a size 3 (which is still big on her) and Evan measuring a size 3 1/2, so he was put into a size 4. They both have room to grow so they should hopefully be able to wear these shoes over the next few seasons.

They both love to walk around the mall and check out everyone and everything around them. However, when the clerk at the shoe store went to measure Evan's feet, he immediately started to cry. Poor little guy. I was able to comfort him quickly and he didn't cry when the clerk put his shoes on. I was told that Evan has "extra, extra wide" feet. NOT extra wide, but extra, extra wide! haha =) Ell and Evan loved their shoes and Ella kept saying, "shoe, shoe". Too cute! =)

We walked around the mall and visited some of our favorite stores (well, mall stores), Gymboree and Baby Gap. We then took off to Costco and checked out all the cool new stuff they have! We need to get the grandparents to buy some fun "HALF birthday" gifts to play with outside! =)

Since we were out for so long the babies missed the window to take an afternoon nap. I hate doing that to them (which rarely happens). They get pretty whinny toward the end of the day anyhow, but then you throw in the absence of the afternoon nap and it's not so fun! Needless to say, the babies went down to bed earlier than normal to make up for it.

We had a fun day though! It was fun to hang out just me and the babies out and about. We're still like a circus act, whereas everyone wants to see the babies and ask if they're both mine. Weird. I wonder if all the attention will go away later on?

Here are a few pics from our day...
Here's little Bean passed out in the car-- couldn't handle missing her nap! :(

My happy Buddy who talked to me the whole way home! =)
Buddy's new shoes
Still snoozin'... Ella's new shoes
And they both went right to work playing with their toys when we got home-- well, after a snuggle or two from daddy first! =)
Half-nakey Bean
Buddy always wanting to go outside!
Sweet little feet
A wagon ride took place right after this shot-- who can resist them?

And just because I thought it was funny-- this is the kind of stuff I find around the house now! I wonder how long it had been there!? =)
