Sweet Ones

My Green Bean

I've been wanting to do a comparison post on my Ella Bean in her green dress. I bought this dress for her when she was just a little one and I absolutely loved it! It's a sweet wool dress that came from Janie and Jack a few years ago. I've been searching and searching on ebay to get another, but they're pretty expensive and hard to come by, especially in her size. One day I just happened to look and found an auction for it and I ended up wearing it for under $20 shipped!! I was super excited. There's a few pictures on my blog somewhere where she's wearing the dress at only a few months old and she just looks adorable with her big brown eyes. So about a week ago I had her in the dress and we were leaving to run out for a few hours and decided to capture a few shots before we loaded up in the car. What do you think? You think she looks the same? :)

Bam Bam & Pebbles (Halloween 2011)

Ella and Evan were Bam Bam & Pebbles for Halloween. It's hard to find cute matchy outfits that aren't a ridiculous amount for toddlers, so thanks to my mom for helping me out with these last minute custumes! :) And I still get a good laugh at the bat I made the night before that looks like the Jesus fish! :) They went trick-or-treating at only a few houses in my parents neighborhood that I grew up in and most of the neighbors are still there. And they still had no idea what candy was, so score for mom! :) I'm sure next year will be a completely different story- ha!

Pumpkin Patch #1 & #2--- only a few months behind!

Again, all my posts are WAY late, but I still want to get them on here, so here we go! :) Ella and Evan had lots of fun going to the pumpkin patches this year. Our first trip was with our MOPS group at church. And our second trip was with Daddy, Grandma, and cousins Kayli and Kevin. They had lots of fun!! It's so hard to find appropriate clothing for our HOT fall weather. Everything sold in stores are long sleeves. I guess all clothing manufacturers forget that California fall weather doesn't come until Thanksgiving! :)
Sitting in the wagon listening to a story about how pumpkins grow. Evan is a serious listener! :)Bean too!Having fun on the hay ride!!Saying hi to the cow... they kept saying, "moooo" :)LOTS of fun in the corn pit! They were a little weary at first, but then climbed right in to the germ, I mean, ah, corn pit!Hmmmm....And then there was the fun jumpy pad!!Time to pick our pumpkin!Showing off their goods...Pumpkin Patch #2 -- holding cousin Kevin's hand! :)Waiting for the train ride. He really was excited. Really. :)My sweet Bean."There's LOTS of orange pumpkins, mommy!" :)Sittin' on the train with cousin Kayli!Sweetness. And Kevin with a weird face in the background- ha!Getting close to nap time! Plus is was SO hot!! They were wiped out by the end!!Snuggle time with grandma while on the hay ride!
