Bean & Buddy are 3!!!!

Can it really be? My babies are 3!!?? I'm not meaning to go all Dr. Seuss on you, but seriously?? It's probably even crazier to some of you since it's been FOREVER since I've posted on our little family blog. Six months to be exact. There have been a lot of changes going on around here so things have been pretty busy 'round these parts. For starters, our little "business" that we had on Etsy is coming to an end. Thank goodness. It was really fun, but it got way too busy, way too fast and it about killed us! We've now decided to just do a couple boutiques shows throughout the year. This will now leave more time for me to do all those fun mommy things... you know, the laundry, meals, clean kids (and self), and just playtime/activities with my kiddos! That's the whole reason we decided I'd be a stay-at-home mom, right?? So I'm excited with this change!
So enough of that. The babies have changed so much since I've last posted. I need to do an "update" blog on all the funny things they say/do. That would likely take forever since I haven't done so in such a long time, but it would still be fun to at least post some of the things to look back on one day.
Ella and Evan turned 3 years old on December 16th. We had such a fun day on their actual birthday. My mom, sister and I took them to pick out their very first donut (which they didn't end up eating... crazy kids!) and then headed over to Barnes and Noble to pick out some fun, new books! They absolutely LOVED the stage area! Evan just liked jumping off the step (boys!) and Ella enjoyed performing her singing and dancing numbers for all that would watch/listen.
Later that evening we had family come by and have dinner and birthday cake with us! Ella and Evan REALLY loved opening presents! Ella would say, "wow" the whole time she opened one and Evan wanted each and every one opened and played with before he moved on to the next! They crack me up. :)
They're birthday party with friends was the next day at a jumpy-house place called Go Bananas. With all the busyness lately, we opted for a place like this where we wouldn't have to set up, clean up, or worry about entertainment. It was great! AND I picked the whole Elmo theme this time around since I wouldn't have to do a lot and get it over (not a fan of "characters" :) They had a blast and that's what was important!
Here's the sucky part... my camera batteries died at the birthday party (FAIL!), so I borrowed my sister's camera and haven't received the pictures yet! Will do SOON, but thought you might enjoy an update (even though I know pictures are WAY more fun!!).
