Lil Hands and Feet

Papa Bob and Grandma Carmen decided to add more concrete out on the ranch property to help with the mud during the later harvest months and winter. It was a fun idea to put all the grandkids' names and hand and/or footprints in the cement. All of them are here except for Ella and Evan's cousin up in Oregon (his will have to come during his next visit!). Daddy was a work the morning I took the babies out to smoosh their hands in the cement so we went out a few days later to show them off!

Ella and Evan's in the middle. Check out how much wider Evan's feet are than Ella's (his "extra wide" feet!) =)

Ella and Evan walking the plank. There's an "extra" footprint on the side of the prints from where Evan ran over to say hi to Papa while they were working on the names/dates on the groud. It's still pretty cute and fortunately Grandma and Papa didn't get mad! =)

LOVE the cones!

And of course the HOSE!!!

They were chasing/following Papa all over the place!

Needless to say, the were SOAKED again by the end of this trip out to the ranch!

Evan trying to catch the spray of water!

Evan telling Papa to come back! They ended up convincing Papa to let them play with the hose some more on the grass!

My attempt at getting a "cheese"/pose from Ella... not very successful!

Grandma trying to peel Evan's wet shirt off... you can see that he wasn't about to let go of that hose. You know who would have it in a heartbeat if he let it out of his grasp!

And THEN Papa let Buddy "drive" his truck. He had lots of fun steering the wheel, turning up the music REALLY loud, and honking the horn. Good times.

Daddy and his Bean.
And then Ella decided she would come in after Buddy persistently asked for his "sishy" (aka "sissy")

M.E.S.S.

I made the mistake of letting the babies in the office with me (again!) while I was on the computer (my lap top lost it's wireless connection, and well, I'm pretty dumb when it comes to that stuff). All of a sudden I turned and found this HUGE mess beside me! Evan started it, I'm sure, as he's gone after this pile of "needing-to-be-shredded" papers numerous times. I decided I would just let them play with it and boy did they have FUN! Plus, it allowed me to get a couple of things done on the computer without (major) distractions. =) So do you let your kids do this kind of stuff? Or am I just crazy? Or maybe a little bit of both! =)

Ella kept finding all the old credit card type cards (i.e. old AAA cards, etc.). I noticed that she kept grabbing them and running out the door with them and returning empty-handed. Hmmm. I decided to follow her the next time... this is what I found...
Apparently they belong in the shopping bag! Crazy girl! =)

They had a blast!

Family Visit

This past weekend we had lots of fun playing with our cousin Capri and baby Devon! Greg and his sister had a high school youth group reunion so we were all able to get together and visit! Ella and Evan love playing with Capri (just "pri" in their case). It's fun because they're at an age where they can actually play together, keep up with one another, and communicate with one another (mostly). Come back and visit soon Auntie Kimbo, Uncle Kevin, Capri, and Devon! Or, better yet, we'll come to you and the beach! =)

Playing before breakfast...

Buddy kept saying, "moooo, moooo"
Oh, playing with the breast pump. Nice.
These are some fun pictures of the kids playing at the park for the reunion picnic...

Watchin' the "kids" "wing" (swing).

Always has to have her water bottle!

I had to show Buddy how to just brush the dirt off his hands. Now he brushes them after anything gets on them! =)

The Three Amigos

Ella just loved walking back...
and forth!
Back at Grandma and Papa's for dinner!

Ella giving baby Devon kisses!

Evan giving kisses too!
TWO cute! =)
