Naptime

Ella and Evan just love to go upstairs for nap time. As soon as I even mention the word for them to go down, they quickly gather up their blankies, tell the lights, t.v., fan (whatever happens to be on) "night-night", and run on over excitedly to the bottom of the stairs. I usually find them both sitting of the bottom step waiting for me. These kids love everything to be routine-like (I guess that's what I created) and have to have things the same way, every time! The light up the stairs has to be on, mommy has to carry their blankies up, and I have to shut the gate behind me. If any of those don't happen in a timely fashion, they'll let you know! =) We've transitioned to one nap a day. It's still pretty shaky from time to time (especially for Evan, who needs more sleep than Ella). Most times they go down by 1pm, sometimes later (eek!) if I have errands to run. That doesn't happen very often though. To compensate, I've been putting them down to bed at night by 7:00/7:15.

I've been SO behind in my blogging lately. I work on a lot of projects at night and if the babies only down once a day, I'm usually pretty busy playing with them in the morning. It seems like summers are always very busy, but I'll try to keep the blog updated more often. The babies have changed so much and talk SO much! haha We're really enjoying this stage... they're so fun!
