Well, I'm officially in baby food-making-mode! I have decided that it's time for the babies to try solid foods again. We had that issue with rice cereal and when I spoke to their doctor, he said to just skip it and go on to a vegetable. I liked that idea, but decided that I was going to wait a while. I really didn't see the need to start right away, seeing how the babies were gaining weight just fine (my 18 lb. moose!) and didn't seem incredibly interested in it. The
AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) suggests not to feed solids until at least 6 months anyway (not that there's anything wrong with doing it sooner, in my opinion), so I didn't feel the pressure. Mainly, it was just because we weren't ready yet. We're ready now though and here's some of our delicious food!

Yellow squash right from the garden! Yum!

A test of squash making and some scrumptious bananas!

A bunch of squash to pile up in the freezer!
I've really enjoyed making the babies' food! A funny thing is that when I pulled out our blender, there actually was a button that said, "baby food". I was looking for "puree", but that was perfect! I'm headed to the farmer's market Saturday morning for some more goodies! The rest of the garden vegetables are quite ready for harvesting! Soon enough! =)
