The Best Mommy's Day Ever!

I am so blessed to be able to celebrate Mother's Day this year. I have so many reasons to be happy... I have an amazing, devoted husband, two precious babies, and a wonderful family. God has given us so much to be thankful for. This Mother's Day, I had my family over for a brunch. We had super yummy food... eggs, ham, crumb cake, fruit, cinnamon rolls, quiche, and my new found favorite, French Toast Casserole with Praline topping -- yum! Greg had to play at a church this morning, so we didn't make it to church together, but it was nice to have everyone at our house to celebrate.

It was a fun day. My Mother's Day gift is in the process of being ordered and I will post pictures of it when I get it. Greg and my brother-in-law, Ian, volunteered to watch the babies this afternoon so that my mom, and my sister and I could go get our nails done. We had fun just hanging out together!

I have so many amazing moms in my life... my mom, my sister, my grandma, my mother-in-law, and of course, wonderful friends. My mom has been such an incredible woman and has shown me what it is like to have unconditional love for family. She has been such a great role model and inspiration to me. I couldn't have gotten through these past year without all her love and support. Thank you, Mom! I love you!

And to my sister, Kristi. Thank you for being such a wonderful sister and best friend. You have helped me in more ways than you'd ever know and I love you. I am so happy that we are able to live so close to each other and live our lives together, raising our families together. God has truly given me the best sister anyone could ever have.

I am thankful for my mother-in-law, Carmen, as well. Thank you for raising such a godly, honorable man. I am so blessed to have him as my husband and father to my children. You taught him to love our Lord above anything else and our amazing relationship is a result of that. Thank you for your love and support over the past 5 years... I love you!

And to my precious babies... I love you more than I thought I could ever love anyone! You make mommy and daddy proud and feel so loved. We can't imagine living life without you two in our lives... you have made our family a "family". Thank you for giving me a reason to celebrate this day!

Kari Marie, you brought tears to my eyes. You have shown, (which I always knew would be true) that you are truly one of the world's greatest moms. So much love for your two precious babies, unlimited patience, and a never ending amount of endurance. You just keep going. I' so very proud of you and love watching your interaction with your babies. They are very lucky to have a mom like you who will always love them, and I know will always be there for them. Thank you for being such a wonderful mommy.
Love you

Sorry we missed your "First" Mother's Day:( We missed ALL of you (Wish you had been with us in Hawaii), but I too knew you would be a GREAT Mom, you're so organized and structured and Loving! You've been so determined to give your babies the gift of good sleep, which is so important. They're doing SO well. Thank you for being such a good Mommy!! to our precious Grandbabies. We consider ourselves so blessed to be close enough to see them often. What a joy!
