Happy Harvest!

Mommy was on her own this year to take the babies out and about for Halloween. Daddy had to play at a church that evening (Reformation Sunday) so I had to get them up from their nap, get them dressed, and head out (although that doesn't sound much different than any other day! ;) Ella and Evan went as Dorothy and the Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz for Halloween this year. They looked so cute! Unfortunately, I forgot to get pictures of Evan while he was wearing his little hat (although he wore it a good portion of the time to show everybody!). We're not into the trick-or-treating thing yet, but they had fun going to Grandma's house, having a special treat (aka french fries), and going to a few neighbors house to show off how cute they looked. I grew up in the house my parents still live in and a lot of the neighbors in the court are "originals" too, building homes at the same time 25 years ago. A few people gave them some candy to put in their pumpkin baskets, but the babies were unsure of what to do with it, deciding to make piles with them instead (they don't eat candy, and very little sweets, with an occasional taste of cake when they go to a birthday party!). I'm thinking by next year though, that the trick-or-treating will be well understood, as well as the concept of candy! =) Here's a few pictures of my little goblins! Cute ones, huh? =)

Miss Dorothy looking very innocent... don't let that sweet face trick ya! ;)

Looking like such a big boy! Still has that baby face though! =)

Once a hoarder, always a hoarder!

The ONE time mommy forgets to put on a cute diaper cover!
Buddy rocking in mommy's rocking chair from when she was their age!
Next to impossible to get a picture of them together!!!
Ella feeding Buddy a french fry!

Sadly, this is our best shot of them together and it looks like Ella is picking her nose (although I assure you she is not!) and Evan in a complete daze! =)
