At the end of last week, Ella was jabbering away and spouted out with "dada". We have always referred to ourselves as mommy and daddy, but realized that they likely wouldn't be saying that and switched over to mama and dada. When she's looking at me or Greg we try to reinforce the mama and dada thing. So back to my "story"... Ella wasn't looking at Greg when she said it and we highly doubt she was intentionally trying to call to him, but it was pretty cute nonetheless. Well then the next day, I went up to get them from their nap and as soon as I walked in the room, she yelled out "mama". I couldn't believe it! How crazy is that? I haven't heard it since, but when I practice with her, she'll mouth it while I say it, over and over again. It is the sweetest thing to watch her copy what my lips are doing! =) I must say, though, that being called "mama" is the sweetest sound I think I'll ever hear in my life.
My little Buddy has been up to his own business... he has a very sharp tooth coming up out of those gums finally! Wow, a tooth! Are they getting that old already?
Here are a couple of pictures I got of the babies this morning. I went up to get them because it was 7:50 a.m. and they were STILL asleep!!! We normally feed at 7 a.m. -- crazy! Anyway, this is what Greg and I found... nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby!

So cute that he's holding on! :)
Kari and Greg-
You guys are amazing parents! I love reading the updates. I check in all the time and love seeing how much they've grown. They are absolutely adorable! Good thing you are having them sleep in the crib! Jacob sleeps with us and the transition to the crib has been quite difficult. He wakes up everytime the AC kicks in! Yikes!
Thanks for sharing your lives with us. We surely enjoy looking at the pictures and reading about how smart Ella and Evan are! They are such bundles of joy.
