It's true! Our house looks SO different now that we have two little ones filling every little space with brightly lit, lullaby-singing, "stuff". When I found out we were having twins, one of the first things that popped into my head was, "Our house is going to look like a daycare!" It does and that's okay. It goes against all my regular urges to have things clean (picked up) and organized, but really, it hasn't bothered me as bad as I had thought it would. I keep reminding myself that these babies will only stay small for a short time and I shouldn't waste it constantly picking up and making sure my house looks immaculate! I've already seen our babies change so much. I know that you never get that time back. And so the laundry will always be there... as well as the dishes. But my babies will continue to grow and change. I don't want to miss that. So this is for my babies and letting them know that I welcome the new change in our house "look"; I wouldn't change it for the world!

You totally cleaned up for pictures!! Or if that's how it looks all the time, you're in for a surprise once they're mobile. It isn't a mess at all.
