Buddy's Hat

Ella loves her hair bows so much that she insists on wearing one as soon as she gets up from her naps (well, at least she points to them from her crib and says "bow" while patting her hair). I, of course, am SO happy that she likes to wear them and jump at the chance to put one on her! I've been putting them on her since the day she was born. And if she tried to take them off, I'd move her hand and tell her no! I know, mean mommy! ;) So anyway, poor little Evan always sees that sissy gets to put something in her hair and will often pick up a bow and sit it on his head wanting me to put one on him. I try to explain that bows are for girls, but he obviously doesn't get that concept yet. All he knows is that sissy gets something and he doesn't! :( So yesterday when I got them up from their nap, Ella pointed to her bows and then Evan quickly patted his head too wanting one. I then went over to his hat basket and pulled out this baseball cap. It's size 6-12 months so I knew that he would have outgrown it, but decided to try it anyway. It didn't fit completely, but he was so happy that he had something on his head and kept it on their FOREVER! What a sweet boy I have! Even though he looks like one of those old men that wear their hats up high, he still looks so cute! Greg and I both decided that it's time to go out hat shopping for Buddy! =)

Oh, and don't mind the PINK pacifier in his mouth! haha! All that talk about not having something because it's "girlish"-- too funny! =)
